and it is oh so comforartble in my black checkboard living room. I am glad I went with all white leather.

I just hope it doesnt turn out to be a real pain to keep clean.

So how do you keep you upholstery and other furniture clean?

Chocolate Cake

The moral of the story on painting is be patient and dont give up to soon. Heck there is one of the 'mime' poses that I think I painted at least 6 times before I got the one I wanted. The third and last one were the two best of the lot.

The only thing I will add is dont let anyone tell you that you cant do it. I have 4 friends with degrees in fines arts one and maybe two actually have masters in fine arts. They all said to stay away from watercolors and for a long time I did. But I wanted to try it so bad that finally I just did. For me watercolor techniques came pretty easy and quickly.

I will add I did buy a couple guidebooks along the way. The short and to the point ones are the best.

All the art I post up and some of you saw is all watercolor and gauche.

Now I have people asking me how to paint with watercolor. Most of my artist friends cant believe I can do it.

Chocolate Cake

Can it possibly get any better than a piece of chocolate cake after nice supper.

Yes, chocolate cake as the supper.

I've blown your collective minds.........time to regroup.

Faux finnish walls and glazes

My next 'bold' or perhaps boneheaded adventure is to either sponge out or perhaps spatter a multi color glaze mix red green yellow and blue againt a black wall.

I'm putting in a vote for the splatter option...or drip it...go Pollack on that baby.

BB:

Spurred on by the inimitable JD, I looked up some Camus quotes.  I had to share this one with this thread:

Abstract Art: A product of the untalented, sold by the unprincipled to the utterly bewildered.
Albert Camus
